ALTA/NSPS Standards (2016) – Half Day or Full Day (Nominally 4.0 or 8.0 Contact Hours)
This presentation is a study of the “Minimum Standard Detail Requirements for ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys,” promulgated by the American Land Title Association (ALTA) and the National Society of Professional Surveyors (NSPS). The requirements for a “complete and accurate” survey of property will be discussed along with the duties and responsibilities for the “surveyor professional professionally responsible for the survey.” Real-world case studies will be examined to flesh-out the concepts discussed.
